RoSPA Survey

The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) has a proud history dating back to 1917. Our mission is to exchange life-enhancing skills and knowledge to reduce serious accidental injuries. From awareness campaigns, education and training to calling for legislative change, RoSPA is committed to standing up for safety at home, on the road, at leisure and through safety education

Accidents and unintentional injuries can happen in all situations.  In Scotland in 2016/17, here were 2,214 deaths due to accidents and unintentional injuries and a further 56,697 serious injuries.  RoPSA is committed to reducing these figures.

RoSPA is currently working with Building Safer Communities on scoping the opportunity for a national prevention strategy for Unintentional Injury and Harm in Scotland. The aim of the exercise is to provide insight into whether a national prevention strategy for Unintentional Injury and Harm is needed for Scotland. The exercise will also consider gaps across the Scottish policy landscape. As part of this research, we are interested in your viewpoints on the current situation regarding the prevention of Unintentional Injury and Harm.

We have therefore created a short online survey which can be accessed here: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/GN2Q6ZP.

Your responses will be collated with other responses and will be used anonymously.

The survey will close on December 5th.
