Rural Parliament Outcomes

It has been a month since we convened in Stranraer for the 2018 Scottish Rural Parliament. Thank you to everyone who attended, your contributions were invaluable and we will soon be publishing a report summarising key findings and asks from delegates. During the event we finalised our Post-Brexit Policy Statement and presented it to Michael Russell. While the outcome of Brexit remains uncertain, we are pleased that rural Scotland’s voice has been heard.
You can view the Policy Statement here.

Your Invitation to Holyrood

We are bringing the voice of rural Scotland to the heart of the Scottish Parliament with a reception sponsored by Finlay Carson, constituency MSP for Stranraer. We will present our report from the Rural Parliament to those attending to ensure rural concerns and opportunities are heard. It takes place on Thursday 10th January from 5.30-7.30pm at the Scottish Parliament.  If you would like to attend please register an interest by emailing emma@sra.scot. Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis and registration is essential.
