87th OLDMELDRUM SPORTS & HIGHLAND GAMES – SAT 17 JUNE 2017

The 87th anniversary Oldmeldrum Sports & Highland Games take place on Saturday 17th June at the pleasure park, Oldmeldrum.

They will be officially opened at 1.30pm by Colin Slessor star of the BBCs “The Mart”.

Traditional highland events including the “Morris’s Hotel” British Caber Championship, the “Flowline Specialists” Highland dancing and the “Rollstud” Drum Majors display.

Aberdeenshire has the highest number of private water supplies in the country, so many people who use or are responsible for one may be interested in the following.

The Scottish Government is proposing changes to legislation relating to private water supplies which may be particularly relevant for landlords and businesses.
