The Society will be holding a Quiz Night on Friday 24th February in Beaton Hall at 7.30pm.
Mick & Hilary will be question masters and we are assured there will be NO questions on Pop Music or Sport!!
It promises to be an enjoyable evevt so bring along your friends for a good evening out.
Another date for your diaries is Friday 30th March.
The James Morrison Collection will be on display in Beaton Hall during the afternoon and evening of that day.
This fantastic collection shows pictures of farms in Belhelvie, Udny, Newburgh, Cruden, Ellon, Methlick and Auchnagatt from the 1880’s to the 1920’s.
Farms are named and there are peoples’ names on them also so if anyone is interested in genealogy they may find relatives!! The pictures, however, provide a fascinating glimpse into farm life of yesteryear.
Vi and Sandy May will be on hand to answer questions. They were instrumental in accessing Lottery Funding to convert the pictures from the original glass plates which were discovered in an attic.
