Children’s bus driver used mobile phone at wheel
Man, 63, fined £500 for offence

A SCHOOL bus driver who used his mobile phone while taking children to a school has kept his licence. Greig Elrick appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court after having previously admitted the driving offence by letter. The 63-year-old bus driver was heading to Meldrum Academy on the Poleburn Road, Methlick, on September 22 when the incident happened.
Elrick, whose address was previously given in court papers as 10 Main Street, Cuminestown, was fined £500 and had three penalty points put on his licence.
